The Denton Skate Park, a popular recreational spot for local skaters, will be closed starting today, December 11, to facilitate the installation of new skate features. This closure is scheduled to end on December 23, allowing time for maintenance and enhancements to the park’s facilities.

The renovations come after the removal of wooden features earlier this summer. The new installations are aimed at enhancing both the durability and performance of the park, benefiting the local skating community. These updates are designed to improve the overall experience for skate enthusiasts across Denton.

Local skaters and community members can look forward to the reopening just in time for the winter break. The timing of these improvements allows students and families to enjoy the upgraded facilities during the holiday season.

Denton’s commitment to providing quality recreational spaces highlights its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve public amenities. This project is part of a broader initiative to support community health and engagement through outdoor activities.
