The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) is organizing an inaugural Drive-Through Pet Food Pantry and Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, December 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event, also known as DFW Pets Are Family Day, will be held at the North Texas Fairgrounds located at 2217 N Carroll Blvd, Denton, TX 76201.

This initiative aims to assist pet owners across North Texas by offering free vaccinations, microchips, and pet food for both dogs and cats. The event does not require registration, making it accessible for all pet owners needing support.

DASF Chairman Dena Guyette expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This is a first-of-its-kind event for Denton, and we’re excited to provide these essential resources to our community. We know how important pets are to families, and we want to ensure they have access to the care and nutrition they need.”

Since its inception in 2007, the Denton Animal Support Foundation has positively impacted the lives of more than 52,000 animals and their families. The organization continues to emphasize the importance of community programs that support pet retention in loving homes.
