Denton is set to embark on a month-long celebration of literacy with the Denton READiculous Book Palooza. Organized by Friends with Benefits, this event runs throughout February 2026, culminating in a significant multi-venue gathering on February 28. Participants are encouraged to collect a BINGO card from participating venues to guide their literary adventure with Tex, the event’s mascot.
The entire month will be filled with a diverse array of activities designed to engage and entertain. These include literacy crafts, movie screenings, workshops, and special events across various local venues such as NCTC, TWU, Denton Makers, and more. The full calendar of events can be viewed at dentonbookpalooza.com/feb-schedule.
Participants can fill out their BINGO cards by visiting local bookstores and libraries or attending book-themed workshops and special events. Those who complete their cards are eligible to enter a drawing for a prize at Eastside on February 28.
