This holiday season, Denton Enterprise Airport and Sheltair Aviation are organizing a food drive to aid local families experiencing food insecurity. The airport community is encouraged to contribute to this effort.

The food drive is running from November 7 through December 5, and participants are asked to donate non-perishable food items to the Denton Community Food Center before the holiday season. Donations are welcome from flight students, tenants, and visitors, all contributing to the goal of ensuring no family goes without a meal this Thanksgiving.

  • Peanut Butter
  • Cereal (popular brands, 12–20 oz; please avoid oversized or combo boxes)

Other Great Items to Donate:

  • Canned Corn
  • Dry Beans
  • Pasta Sauce (16 & 24 oz)
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Tuna or Chicken
  • Canned Tomatoes
  • Rice (1 lb. bags)
  • Apple Juice (64 oz)
  • Mac & Cheese (7.25 oz)
  • Hamburger Helper / Skillet Dinners
  • Snack Bars
  • Toddler Foods (individual packs of applesauce, yogurt snacks, small cereal boxes, pudding cups, instant oatmeal)

As the community prepares for a season of gratitude, donations of even a few items can make a significant difference, providing comfort and nourishment to those in need.
