Denton, TX – Goodwill North Central Texas, in partnership with the Denton Municipal Court, will hold an Expunction and Court in the Community event on Monday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 2030 W. University Dr., Denton, TX.

Expunction Clinic

The event aims to assist the first 100 individuals at no cost with various legal services related to criminal record expunction. The services offered include:

  • Checking criminal records
  • Assessing qualification for expunction
  • Generating necessary legal documents
  • Filing documents directly with the court
  • Removing records from numerous databases

Court in the Community

The Denton Municipal Court will concurrently host a Safe Harbor event, allowing residents to address outstanding warrants without the risk of arrest. Attendees are encouraged to bring all relevant documents if they are seeking payment alternatives. Available services include:

  • Time Served: Attendees should bring their booking in and out paperwork.
  • Community Service/Indigence: Documentation proving inability to pay fines is required.
  • Time Payment Plans

All participants are required to bring two forms of identification. Pre-registration is mandatory to ensure efficient service. To pre-register for the Expunction Clinic, individuals should use the provided registration link. For Court in the Community, registration can be completed through the designated link.
