Last night, the City of Denton and Denton City Council celebrated and recognized organizational accomplishments of the past year at the annual State of the City event. Unlike previous years, this year’s event was held virtually and streamed live on DTV and the City’s official Facebook page. In case you missed it, to see a replay of last night’s event!

One key highlight of every State of the City is the release of our City of Denton Annual Report. Like previous years, the 2020 report features a message from the Mayor and City Manager and all sorts of interesting stories, photos, facts, and figures from the previous year.

One unique feature in this year’s report is the addition of two new pages dedicated to the City’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This spread highlights the various ways in which the City of Denton stepped up to the plate to care for our employees and the Denton community.
