The City of Denton’s Municipal Court will temporarily relocate its lobby and service windows within City Hall East to accommodate upcoming building repairs. The transition will begin with an early closure at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, to facilitate the move.

Services are set to resume on Thursday, October 9, during normal business hours at the court’s new location in the main lobby of City Hall East, situated near the Customer Service windows. The relocation is intended to be temporary, and staff will continue providing assistance without interruption.

  • Closure Date: Wednesday, October 8, at 1:00 p.m.
  • Resumption Date: Thursday, October 9
  • New Location: Main lobby of City Hall East, near Customer Service windows

Meanwhile, the Judge’s office and courtroom will remain operational in their current locations. Normal court operations are expected to continue unaffected by the move.
