DENTON, TX, Sept. 29, 2025 – The City of Denton will begin its annual ’31 Days of Halloween’ festivities this Wednesday, October 1, at the Denton Civic Center. The celebration starts at 5 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark Denton’s official designation as the Halloween Capital of Texas and the grand opening of the Mad Scientist themed Maze.

This year’s expanded event lineup includes nearly 300 experiences throughout October, such as the new decor pop-ups, a skeleton-themed Scavenger Hunt, and the Cirque du Horror Big Top Tent. The initiative, which started as a community effort to boost economic impact and showcase Denton’s uniqueness, continues to attract visitors from across the nation and internationally.
