Denton, TX – September 5, 2024 – The City of Denton has announced the launch of “Rep’d,” a new video engagement platform aimed at enhancing communication between city staff and residents. The platform is designed to increase transparency and offer residents a more personalized way to interact with their local government.

The Rep’d platform allows residents to submit questions to city staff and receive customized responses via video or direct communication. Residents will be notified by email once a response is ready. According to city officials, the platform is intended to create a stronger connection between the community and local government.

“Our goal is to build a better-connected community where every resident feels they have direct access to their city workforce,” said Dustin Sternbeck, Denton’s Chief Communications Officer. He added that the new service, accessible through the “Ask the City” feature, aims to improve municipal interaction and make information more readily available to residents.

Residents can participate by visiting the City of Denton’s website and clicking the “Ask the City” button or by navigating to repd.us/denton.
