Denton, TX – The City of Denton is set to launch its annual “31 Days of Halloween” celebration with a ribbon-cutting event on October 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will mark the official opening of the NTX Ghostbusters Headquarters at the Discover Denton Visitor Center, located at 111 W. Hickory St.

The event will feature local business leaders, city officials, and residents as they come together to celebrate the start of a month-long series of Halloween-themed festivities. Following the ribbon-cutting, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the city’s downtown area, which will be adorned with themed décor and interactive spaces.

Later that evening, festivities will continue at the Denton Civic Center with the Blocktober Party and Pumpkin Drop, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The 31 Days of Halloween event is aimed at boosting community engagement, driving tourism, and supporting local businesses. Throughout October, residents and visitors can enjoy Halloween-inspired events, interactive experiences, and themed food and drinks at participating establishments across the city.
