US 377 in Denton will close overnight to through traffic between Roselawn Drive and Massey Street next week.

Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporarily close north and southbound lanes of US 377 in Denton between Roselawn Drive and Massey Street to through traffic overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 19 through Friday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 26 through Saturday, May 30.

The closure will allow crews to safely continue railroad bridge demolition. US 377 has previous closure relating to ongoing construction.

A detour route for through traffic will be in place (see map below). Message boards will be placed to alert drivers of the temporary closure. Drivers are reminded to be alert when traveling in the area.
