Denton residents can now receive real-time text updates for service requests made through the Denton 311 system. This new feature aims to improve communication and efficiency by notifying residents about the status of their inquiries. Additionally, the Denton 311 app offers waste reminders to alert residents when to set out their trash and recycling carts, as well as notify them of any collection delays due to holidays or severe weather.

Launched in April 2025, Denton 311 is a citywide initiative designed to enhance customer service by providing a simple way for residents to access non-emergency assistance and city-related information.
