Updating existing infrastructure and designing safe and connected multi-modal infrastructure continues to be a key priority for the City of Denton to effectively provide our community with a great quality of life. With active and planned construction projects happening throughout the City, keeping community members informed is equally important. One way the City keeps the community informed is by publishing the Construction Guide, a bi-annual print publication that is mailed to every resident within the City.

The Construction Guide highlights information on planned, active, and recently completed construction and improvement projects throughout the City. From voter approved Bond program updates to city facility and major roadway construction, the Guide is a holistic overview of ways Denton is improving.

The 2021 Construction Guide is expected to begin arriving at resident’s homes within the City of Denton this weekend. In this latest edition, residents will find information regarding:

  • Major infrastructure projects beginning and expected to complete construction this year;

  • Progress on the City’s Bond Programs;

  • Major infrastructure and City facility project updates;

  • Education articles to highlight some of the City’s existing resources relating to construction and maintenance projects; and

  • Ways for residents to stay engaged and informed on construction and improvement projects from the City.

The 2021 Construction Guide is available on the City’s digital platforms including www.CityofDenton.com and www.ImprovingDenton.com.

Visit ImprovingDenton.com for more information, to stay updated on construction projects throughout the City, sign up for project specific email alerts, view the weekly Street Closure Report (SCR), and more.
