The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a public meeting for input on the final draft of the Subsidy and Resource Allocation Study.

The public meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in the front Community Room at Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St.

The Subsidy and Resource Allocation Study will provide a framework for planning, budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation of the department’s recreation programs, events, services, and partnerships. The study was performed by GreenPlay, LLC and will serve as a tool to help the department price and manage programs and services effectively and in line with the City’s core values, vision, and mission.

Residents unable to attend are welcome to submit input via email to Gary Packan, Director of Parks and Recreation, at Gary.Packan@cityofdenton.com or call (940) 349-7460. For more information or to view the final draft of the study, visit www.dentonparks.com.
