Library

All three Denton Public Library locations will be open for drop-in access and adapted services starting May 1, 2021. Services include 30-minute grab & go browsing and checkout, first come, first served computer access, limited small capacity in-person classes & events, and more. Additional details about reopening services and hours will be available on the Library’s Facebook www.facebook.com/dentonpubliclibrary over the next few weeks.

Customers who prefer contactless pickup are welcome to use the drive-up window at North Branch Library.

Digital Resources
Denton residents and library cardholders are still able to access the Library’s multitude of digital resources. For information on digital resources and how to access them, visit . Denton residents without a card can request a temporary eCard online at . Those with an expired library card may also renew online at .

Virtual Book-A-Librarian Appointments
Patrons may also request a virtual appointment with a Library staff member for one-on-one assistance or instruction. Thirty-minute audio and video appointments via Microsoft Teams will be available. Using the Microsoft Teams service, residents and Library staff members can share their computer screens for tutorials and how-to help. To book an appointment, visit bit.ly/DPLBookaLibrarian.

We’re so excited to be opening up, safely, for summer!

While North Lakes Rec Center and

MLK Jr. Rec Center have been open for a while along with the driving range, tennis courts, and the Natatorium, we can say with certainty that it’s time for everything else to open. (!)
