DENTON, TX, June 17, 2024 – The City of Denton is inviting residents to provide feedback on its 2024-25 Action Plan for Housing and Community Development. This plan, essential for securing federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will be open for public comment until June 21, 2024.

The city anticipates receiving approximately $1.62 million for the upcoming program year. These funds, sourced from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and local program income, aim to support low and moderate-income residents. The proposed projects and details of the plan can be reviewed on the city’s website at City of Denton Community Development.
