DENTON, TX, Sept. 10, 2021 – The City of Denton is seeking feedback for the Denton Plan 2040 Comprehensive Plan; Mobility Plan; and Denton Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan. The City is hosting an in-person event on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Development Services Center located at 401 N. Elm St.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to review and comment on draft maps, talk to City staff, provide input, and leave comments about how we can help shape the city’s growth and plan for the future. Face masks will be required, in compliance with the 14th Order of Council, and will be offered to those that do not have one. Room capacities will also be limited and managed to maintain safe distancing.

Community members not able to attend the in-person event will have an opportunity

to review the draft maps and materials and comment virtually by visiting

www.cityofdenton.com/denton2040. Online participation is open from Sept. 16 through Sept. 30.
