Our Playground Replacement Plan is Sliding into Place

The Playground Replacement Plan outlines play structure replacements and anticipated costs for the next 15+ years. Park Maintenance crews are installing new playground structures at the MLK Jr. Rec Center, Carl Gene Young Sr. Park, Quakertown Park, Nette Shultz Park, and Patrick Park in the Carnegie Ridge Subdivision.

Construction is underway and will continue through the end of the year. The new playground at Vela Athletic Complex was installed this past spring, along with new playgrounds at Denia Park, Fred Moore Park, and Milam Park.
