A new one-way traffic pattern is now in place on Avenue A (Mulberry Street northward to West Hickory Street) and Mulberry Street (Welch Street westward to Avenue A).

The one-way traffic pattern will accommodate on-street parallel parking on the south side of Mulberry Street and diagonal parking on the west side of Avenue A, for an additional 24 parking spaces.

The new traffic pattern comes after careful consideration of feedback from the residents, UNT, DTCA, City of Denton Fire and Police Departments, surrounding business owners, and pedestrians and bicyclists.

Signs and message boards will be posted advising motorists of the one-way traffic pattern. Motorists are advised to obey all traffic control devices, and allow for extra time when traveling in the area.
