Denton Trails Master Plan Virtual Community Input Meeting

DENTON, TX, Sept. 29, 2020 – The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department will host a virtual community input meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1, regarding the Denton Trails Master Plan.

City staff from the Parks and Recreation Department will host the virtual meeting to discuss and receive input on current trails and open space, and future trends and needs regarding trail design, accessibility, connections, safety, and sustainability.

The virtual meeting will be online using Zoom, a video-conferencing platform. For more details on virtual community meetings, visit www.cityofdenton.com/virtualcommunitymeeting.

How to attend the virtual meeting:

To receive a link to participate, email a request with your name and phone number to parksnrec@cityofdenton.com.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for the virtual meeting at least 24 hours in advance to receive the meeting link.

Special accommodations:

The City will provide select accommodations, such as sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired if requested at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.

Send an email to parksnrec@cityofdenton.com so accommodation requests can be reviewed and processed.
