Phase I of the Mayhill Road project is now complete. This phase of the Capital Improvement Project expanded Mayhill Road (US 380 to north of Quail Creek Road) from a two-lane undivided road to a four-lane divided road, added new water and sewer lines, and drainage structures.

Phase II of the Mayhill Road project (Colorado Boulevard to north of Quail Creek Road) is currently in the final stage of design with right-of-way acquisitions underway, and is tentatively scheduled to begin construction in January 2021. This phase of the project will include a 4-lane roadway expansion towards Colorado Boulevard. This phase will also address congestion issues and include a bridge over the DCTA Railroad.
