Texas Woman’s University (TWU) has once again been recognized for its outstanding landscaping work. The Professional Grounds Management Society® awarded TWU the Honor Award in the mid-size college category at the 53rd Annual Green Star Awards program, held in Louisville, Kentucky, in October. This marks the university’s ninth recognition since 2007.

The Honor Award is the second-highest recognition given by the society, acknowledging TWU’s commitment to excellence in grounds management and environmental stewardship. Bob Trevino, manager of landscape operations at TWU, noted the dedication of the university’s landscape team, stating, “Our landscape team takes its work seriously, and the team’s attention to detail and meticulous groundskeeping is reflected in its efforts every day.”

In total, 13 educational institutions were recognized with Grand, Honor, or Merit Awards during the program. TWU’s commitment to maintaining a high standard for its campus landscapes continues to earn national attention and accolades.
