The City of Denton Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider a request by SLF II Cole Property, LP and Denton Independent School District to amend the Master Planned Community (MPC) zoning district by adopting new standards and regulations including an updated development plan map on approximately 3,169 acres. The subject property is generally located west of Interstate Highway I-35W, north and south of FM 2449 in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.

Any citizen or group of citizens interested in attending the public hearing is invited to do so. If you attend, you will be given an opportunity to speak for or against the change, or you may attend only to observe. Applicants and their agents are expected to attend.
 
Properties within 200 feet of the subject property were notified of the request pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code. As a courtesy, the City of Denton also sends notification to all physical addresses within a 500-foot radius of the subject property.

The recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be forwarded to the City Council for final action, which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. The Planning and Zoning Commission may recommend, and City Council may approve, any zoning district which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested, and which is deemed consistent with Denton Plan 2030.
