The City Council for the City of Denton, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Annual Program of Services (Budget), on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 215 East McKinney Street in Denton, Texas, 76201. The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the Budget.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $8,797,230 OR 12.5% AND OF THAT AMOUNT $2,524,974 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
 
All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and express their views.
