The City of Denton City Council will hold a public hearing regarding a city-initiated Comprehensive Plan Amendment to modify the Thoroughfare Plan and Thoroughfare Map of the 2022 Mobility Plan, including but not limited to modifications to the functional classification of: Eagle Drive from North Texas Boulevard to South Carroll Boulevard; Welch Street from Eagle Drive to West Oak Street, and Avenue A from Highway I-35E to Eagle Drive from Secondary Arterial to Collector. These street segments are generally located south and east of the University of North Texas in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.
