Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center is located in Denton, Texas. If you are driving from Dallas, take Interstate 35E north and exit at Post Oak Drive. Turn left on Post Oak Drive and continue until it dead-ends at the entrance to the center. If you are coming from Fort Worth, take Interstate 35W north to Denton and exit at FM 1515. Turn right onto FM 1515 and continue until it dead-ends at the entrance to the center.
Once you arrive at the center, you can park in the designated parking areas and start exploring the trails. The center has more than 9 miles of hiking trails, ranging from easy to moderate difficulty, and provides access to diverse habitats, including forests, prairies, and wetlands.
