WELL BLENDED ART AND MUSIC AT UNT ON THE SQUARE

October 4th through October 15th the Artists Enclave of Denton County and Lumedia Musicworks collaborate to create a concoction of “Coffee” inspired creativity at Denton’s UNT on the Square.

The exhibition, titled WELL BLENDED, uses coffee and the concept of blending as a whimsical jumping off point to explore the celebratory and revelatory power of art when many disciplines unite in a common theme. UNT on the Square is located at 109 North Elm Street, Denton, Texas 76201.

Browse coffee-inspired artwork as you sip wine (or coffee) and enjoy Lumedia Musicworks on Sunday, October 6th as they perform musical selections from their Well-Blended Coffee Concert. Experience the music written about coffee when coffee was making its big debut in 17th century Europe. The performance will include a small orchestra and several vocalists.

During “Well Blended”, Lumedia Musicworks will exhibit some of their “Short Films”. Artists Enclave will provide artwork in various forms (2D and 3D works, photography, jewelry, fiber, mixed media and more) in which the concept of blending, as well as coffee, and even the humble yet versatile coffee bean, are
the subject or the medium. Sometimes both!

The art exhibition runs from October 4th through October 15th. The Concert begins at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 6th with a reception and viewing of the artwork at 2:30 PM as well as following the concert program. The exhibit, concert and reception are open to the public with no admission fee.
