My Annual Open Studio Tour
This year’s tour will be Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3 with hours of 10 to 5 both days.  I hope you will stop by and see what I’ve been painting.

As always, you can register for an original watercolor painting to be given as a door prize.

My address is 3800 Elm Bottom Circle, Aubrey, TX and my cell phone is 972-839-2993.  I will look forward to seeing you on November 2 or 3.    If you’ve not visited my studio in the country, I am about five miles northeast of Denton, just off of FM 428.

Nel  Dorn  Byrd

As always, I appreciate your interest and friendship. Watercolor USA was the “biggie” this year and I received signature status in the Watercolor Honor Society with my 15 x 22 painting of cotton titled “Strip Ready”.  Leon and I drove to Springfield, MO for the opening reception at Springfield Art Museum and a Watercolor Honor Society dinner afterwards.  It was a very special event in my career.

Other acceptances in juried competitions include:

Southern Watercolor Society 42nd Annual, Kerrville, TX
Construction  22 x 30 – Winsor Newton Award

Society of Watercolor Artists International Exhibition, Ft. Worth, TX    Meter Mates   22 x 30
