MERGING VISIONS 2022 is a collaborative exhibition of art and poetry between Texas artists within a 100 mile radius of Denton and members of the Denton Poets’ Assembly.
Submission Deadline: January 14th
Exhibition Date & Venue: June 4-25, UNT CoLab, Denton, TX
Art and poetry may be submitted at the email address below until January 14.
All artwork submitted to the address will undergo an initial jurying process before being open for review and possible selection by a DPA poet. Submissions of art accepted by the juror will not guarantee inclusion in the exhibit. Poetry filed at the address will be considered published, not guaranteed for inclusion in the exhibit and subject to further critique.
Communication between artist and poet is strongly suggested as collaboration begins. Either the artist or poet may initiate the process. Therefore, all submissions must include name, title of work, email address and phone number at which the artist or poet can be reached. For artists creating new works to pair with poetry filed at the address, the jurying process will begin February 24. Communications and inquiries regarding the exhibit and submissions for both art and poetry will be addressed at dpamv2022@gmail.com
See the Prospectus for the calendar, filing entries, size limitations, accepted digital format, insurance coverage and fees. Monetary sponsorship for the exhibit will be sought. A catalog of all works in the exhibit will be made available to each participant.
