“Marley was dead, to begin with…” but what happens to Ebenezer Scrooge’s mean, sour, pruney old business partner after that? Chained and shackled, Jacob Marley is condemned to a hellish eternity. To make matters worse, he is given his own private tormenter: A malicious little demon who thoroughly enjoys her work. Marley is given one last chance; in order to escape his own chains, he must first redeem the unredeemable Scrooge. So begins a journey of laughter and terror, redemption and renewal during which Marley must not only try to save Scrooge, but also himself.

The cast of “Jacob Marley” features TWU undergraduates Janel Agbor, Harley Glenn, E.J. Richard and Belinda King.

The production features designs by Associate Professor Rhonda Gorman (costume and scenic design), Kacie Mapp (properties), Associate Professor Dr. Noah Lelek (lighting design), Erik Collins (assistant lighting design), Alexi Sinclair (assistant to the lighting designer), Assistant Professor Justin Ashley (technical direction) and Lauren Schlossberg (sound designer), with original sound design by Robert Neuhaus and original music by Larry Schanker.
