It also announced a planned upgrade of around 100 Sally Beauty Supply retail locations around North Texas with the remodeling based on a recent Las Vegas concept store test. The updates are expected to include new tech along with physical upgrades.

Seventy five additional North Texas stores are under consideration for either a remodel or relocation based on market assessments and landlord negotiations.

“The combination of new expertise, new digital capabilities, refreshed stores and an efficient supply chain all support a great experience for our customers and will contribute to our growth. We are making the investments necessary to drive the success of Sally Beauty for the long-term and North Texas is at the center of our efforts,” Aaron Alt, president and CFO of Sally Beauty Supply, said in a statement.

Sally Beauty’s previously announced 500,000-square-foot automated distribution node is expected to be located in Denton and create 270 new jobs. The opening is on track for March 2020, according to a statement.
