The City of Denton Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) will hold a public hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council regarding a proposed revision to the Denton Development Code; specifically to amend the Denton Development Code, Subchapters 7 “Development Standards” and 8 “Subdivisions” in relation to development contracts, payment in lieu of public infrastructure improvements, and sidewalk escrow agreements; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing a severability clause and an effective date.

The recommendation of P&Z will be forwarded to the City Council for final action, which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. P&Z may recommend, and City Council may approve, any request which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested and which is deemed consistent with Denton Plan 2030.
