DENTON, TX, March 3, 2021 – On the afternoon of March 3, 2021, the FBI arrested Denton Police Officer David Schoolcraft for a criminal offense. The Denton Police Department is not involved in the criminal case and is cooperating with the special agents conducting the investigation. Officer Schoolcraft was immediately placed on administrative leave pending an outcome from his criminal case, and the concurrent administrative case. He has 15 years of service with the department and has been assigned to patrol for the entirety of that time.
