The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a focus group meeting for public input on adapted recreation to supplement the Needs Assessment Survey as part of the future Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan.

The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at
Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St.

The Parks and Recreation Department currently offers adapted recreation programs, events, and activities at North Lakes Rec Center. Staff representatives will be on site to receive input on
community needs, identify future trends, and discuss potential new programs, facilities, events,
and partnerships that could be considered as part of the future master plan.

Residents unable to attend are welcome to submit input via email to Gary Packan, Director of
Parks and Recreation, at Gary.Packan@cityofdenton.com or call (940) 349-7460. For more
