The City of Denton Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council regarding a request by Kirkman Engineering for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for a multi-family dwelling use on three adjacent tracts totaling approximately 9.91 acres.

The subject property is generally located west of Mockingbird Lane and south of the Mingo Road in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.

Any citizen or group of citizens interested in participating in the public hearing is invited to do so. If you plan to participate, you will be given an opportunity to speak for or against the change, or you may participate only to observe. Applicants and their agents are expected to participate.
 
Properties within 200 feet of the subject property were notified of the request pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code. As a courtesy, the City of Denton also sends notification to all physical addresses within a 500-foot radius of the subject property.

The recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be forwarded to the City Council for final action, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. The Planning and Zoning Commission may recommend, and City Council may approve, any request which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested, and which is deemed consistent with Denton Plan 2030.
