Denton County, in a collaborative effort with the City of Denton and the City of Lewisville, has launched a new digital resource directory named FindHelp Denton County. This online platform is meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive list of support services and programs available to the community, emphasizing its accessibility to every county resident.

FindHelp Denton County stands out with its user-friendly features, including the ability to filter resources by keywords and zip codes. This functionality allows residents to easily locate the resources closest to them, whether it be food assistance, transportation services, medical care, financial aid, or job training opportunities. The platform ensures that the results are tailored to show the nearest or most relevant programs, enhancing the user experience.

In addition to serving individual community members, the platform is also a valuable tool for local social service and nonprofit agencies. These organizations can use FindHelp Denton County to link help-seekers with appropriate services or to manage inbound referrals, further strengthening the network of support within the county.

Mayor Gerard Hudspeth of Denton has praised the initiative, emphasizing its role in enhancing residents’ access to crucial information. He views FindHelp Denton County as an invaluable tool that supports both the community members in need and the numerous nonprofit organizations that deliver human services.

Glen Chambers, the Senior Vice President of External Affairs at FindHelp, expressed his organization’s honor in partnering with local government changemakers. “Launching today, FindHelp Denton County (powered by findhelp) is available for every single county resident to find and connect to needed resources,” said Chambers. He emphasized the platform’s integral role in supporting Denton County’s commitment to ‘fairly and equitably allocate resources.’

Residents of Denton County are encouraged to explore this new digital information hub by visiting FindHelp.DentonCounty.gov, a step towards a more connected and supported community.
