DENTON, TX, Oct. 8, 2020 – The City of Denton encourages community members to review and share their feedback on the final draft of the 2020 Denton Mobility Plan by Friday, Oct. 30. Community feedback is critical as the final Plan is completed and presented to the Denton City Council for final adoption in early 2021.
The 2020 Denton Mobility Plan final draft, additional plan resources, and different input options are available on the City’s website at www.cityofdenton.com/mobilityplan. The online resources and input options included with the 2020 Denton Mobility Plan are:

A project overview and timeline;

A video overview of the complete final draft;

Previously held public meeting information;
-
Recordings of virtual community meetings, copies of presentations, and Q&A reports;

Interactive map and comment form for public feedback; and

City Council presentations of the first draft.
“Community feedback on the final draft of the 2020 Denton Mobility plan is essential to prioritizing the multimodal transportation needs of the City,” said Brian Jahn, City of Denton Traffic Engineer. “This is the best way for the public to share their feedback on transportation issues they face, and what they would like the future of the City’s bicycle, automobile, and pedestrian infrastructure to look like.”
