The City of Denton is hard at work improving and expanding our infrastructure to keep up with our growing community. The City is strategically dedicating more resources than ever before to infrastructure projects and is committed to improving the conditions of our roads to get ahead of future mobility and utility challenges. With several City improvement projects underway, some residents and businesses may experience the inconvenience of construction. The City is working to provide meaningful, up-to-date construction project information to all residents and businesses.

In January 2019, the first-ever Construction Guide was published to inform the community of the many ways that the City is working to improve Denton. With numerous projects underway and several successfully completed since then, the midyear update provides the most updated information on active and upcoming improvement projects. The guide also offers additional updates on the progress of our bond programs to provide insight on how projects are scheduled and managed at the City of Denton.

The City shares all construction information, including an easy-to-use map with real time construction updates, at Improving Denton. Visit www.improvingdenton.com to view a digital copy of the 2019 Midyear Construction Guide update, information on all major projects, and a toolkit designed to help businesses navigate construction.
